How to Change Mario's Color in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

The console role-playing game "Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door" features the characters from the "Super Mario Brothers" video game series. Players take control of Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and others as they work their way through the quest to save the Mushroom Kingdom. Players can customize the look of Mario's clothing; this will change his color for the rest of the game.

Instructions

  Begin a new game of "Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door." Create a save file to keep an updated copy of your game at all times.

  Visit the traveling salesmen, Charlieton, in each town that your characters visit. Charlieton will be present in every town of the game. Talk to the salesmen to access his inventory of items that he is trying to sell.

  Purchase the three emblem badges from the salesman to receive the three different uniform changes for Mario. Move the cursor over the emblem item and press the A button to make the purchase. The "W" emblem will cause Mario to change into Wario's clothing and the "L" emblem will cause Mario to change into Luigi's clothing. Equipping both emblems at the same time will cause Mario to change into Waluigi's clothing.
