How to Get Under a Tree in Twilight Town on Paper Mario Tube Mode

"Paper Mario 2: The Thousand Year Door" is a Nintendo game for the GameCube. Chapter 4 takes part in Twilight Town, where the mayor of the city informs Mario that the town is under a curse due to an evil monster living in the forest. Every time the monster rings a bell, a citizen is turned into a pig. This same monster has stolen a crystal star that Mario needs to beat the game. It's up to players to locate and destroy the monster to save both Mario and the Twilight Town citizens.

Instructions

  Enter the shack in the woods and turn left. An event will occur, telling you that you've found a black key.

  Walk to the the Twilight Town shop where a lady is crying. Talk to her and listen to her story. She will ask you to help reverse the pig curse and offer anything in her shop in return.

  Walk into the back room of the shop and a black chest will start talking to you. The creature inside will beg to be let out. Select "Open With Black Key" when prompted. A purple monster will pop out and curse you with the "Roll Up" curse.

  Walk over to the tree in the forest. Press and hold the "R" button, then rotate the control stick in a circle. Mario will roll up into a tube and slide right under the tree.
