How to Make Pokemon Stronger Really Fast in Pokemon Colosseum

In "Pokemon Colosseum," the sequel to the Nintendo 64's "Pokemon Stadium," players can choose to play in either Battle Mode or Story Mode. Battle Mode allows players to fight against friends in a three-dimensional (3-D) stadium, while Story Mode follows the adventures of an expert Pokemon trainer who has turned away from evil. Although leveling up Pokemon can take several hours, there are additional methods by which players can craft a stronger Pokemon party.

Instructions

    • 1

Collect items, such as Protein, Calcium, Carbos, HP Up or Iron, which increase a Pokemon's attack, special, speed, hit points and defense, respectively. The player can also feed a Pokemon Rare Candies, which can be found scattered throughout the land in Story Mode. A rare candy will raise an individual Pokemon's level by one.

    • 2

Use items in battle to boost your Pokemon's strength. X Accuracy, X Defend, X Attack, X Special and X Speed all influence a Pokemon's abilities during one battle. Most items in-game can be earned during trainer battles or purchased at a PokeMart.

    • 3

Battle against higher-level opponents than your own Pokemon. Ideally, opponents will be a few levels higher than your party members. Bring plenty of healing items to the battle to keep Pokemon from fainting. Higher-level opponents earn Pokemon more experience points, which hastens the leveling-up process. Boss battles will earn you even more experience points.

    • 4

Place a very weak Pokemon at the top of your Pokemon roster. Enter into battle against a much higher-leveled opponent. Immediately switch out the weak Pokemon for a strong Pokemon. All Pokemon involved in battle will earn experience points. A weak Pokemon will gain significantly more experience points through this method than by facing other weak opponents alone.

Evolve your Pokemon. Evolved Pokemon typically feature improvements in all of their stats compared to their previous forms. Evolution may involve the use of certain items, such as a Fire Stone or Water Stone, or it may involve leveling up a Pokemon until it reaches a particular level.
