How to Unlock Players & Places on Super Smash Bros Melee

Four players can compete in all-out brawls in "Super Smash Bros. Melee" for the Nintendo GameCube. This fighting title features classic Nintendo characters such as Mario, Link and Kid Icarus competing in stages from Nintendo games dating back to the NES era. "Super Smash Bros. Melee" also includes a number of unlockables, including hidden characters and alternate stages, which require a certain progression in the game to achieve.

Instructions

  Unlock the evil Ganondorf from the "Legend of Zelda" series by finishing Event 29. After you complete this level, Gannondorf will challenge you. Beat him to later play as him. Earn Jigglypuff from "Pokemon" by competing the single-player mode on any difficulty. Finish a stage in Adventure Mode with a "2" in the seconds meter to unlock Luigi.

  Open the Battlefield stage by finishing the single-player game in All-Star mode. Earn the Big Blue stage from "F-Zero" by completing 150 matches in the Versus mode. If you compete in 50 Versus mode matches, you will get the Brinstar Depths stage from the "Metroid" games. Play in the Final Destination stage by completing the 51 event matches in "Super Smash Bros. Melee".

  Fight a larger version of Kirby in Adventure Mode by quickly beating the regular Kirby. If you can knock out the little pink guy in 30 seconds or less, you will be challenged by the fatter version of the Nintendo character.

  Transform Zelda into her Sheik disguise in Classic Mode by holding the "A" button before the battle. Hold this button until the battle starts to transform. You can also transform from Sheik to Zelda using the same trick.
