What Do You Do After You Catch Rayquaza in Pokemon Ranger?

There are more "Pokemon" games than there are grains of sand on the beach, but "Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs" manages to add a few twists to the classic formula of capturing every monster you can get your hands on. An emphasis on story elements, and a new monster-catching method that finds players reaching out in friendship, sets this title apart from most "Pokemon" games. Once the monster Rayquaza is captured, the in-game missions are complete, but there are still a few things to do if you wish to watch the true ending to the game.

Finishing the Main Storyline
- Rayquaza's capture leads to events that conclude the major plotlines in the game. Watch as Kres proclaims you the legendary Ranger, listen to the conversation and return to Wint Town. The story wraps up with some more dialogue, and you eventually find yourself back at the main menu. Take the opportunity to save your game's progress, as you'll want to return to this point if you die before you finish playing through the optional content.
Capturing All Monsters
- Your last save indicates the end of the mandatory missions, but the land of Fiore is home to 209 species of Pokemon. This is the ideal time to hunt them down; after the game is completed, you're able to travel quickly to different lands, and each area is well populated with enough Pokemon to make the capturing process a bit easier. Some Pokemon only appear once the main quest is finished.
Special Mission Four
- It's not necessary to complete the available bonus missions, but they provide some added entertainment for players looking for more content. Make sure the three legendary dogs have been defeated. This activates the extra missions. There are four altogether, but the last one is only available after you complete the game and enter a special code. On the title screen, select "Ranger Net" and hold down "R," "X" and left on the directional pad simultaneously. Enter the following password in the space provided: P8M2-9D6F-43H7.
The 210th Pokemon
- Snorlax is the snoozing creature you see at various moments throughout your adventures in Fiore. He eventually decides to make his home in a cave in the Cycla Mountain Range. Once the other 209 Pokemon are captured, Snorlax awakens and becomes the final target for those looking to capture the entire roster of Pokemons. After you get your hands on him, Hayate tells you to return to Ring Town, where you'll enjoy the pleasure of high praise for finishing the Ranger Browser. This earns you the "Completion Emblem" and you'll get to view a final animated sequence.
