How to Make an Underground House in Pokemon Diamond

In the Nintendo DS game "Pokemon Diamond," there is an entire world under your feet. It's called the Underground, and it allows players to dig underneath the Earth looking for old relics and fossils. The fossils can be turned into special Pokemon, and the relics can be exchanged for items. One other feature of the Underground is the ability to create your own house, called a secret base. This is an area all your own where you can store items, access your computer and relax.

Instructions

  Head to Eterna City, located near the center of your world map.

  Find the Underground Man, who lives in a house within the city. He will tell you about the underground, then offer to give you different missions to teach you about it. Follow his instructions, and at the end of the third mission, you will receive an item called the Digger Drill.

  Open your inventory, go to the Key Items pocket, and use your Explorer Kit to head to the Underground.

  Find the spot where you want to put your secret base and face the wall. Select the Digger Drill from the Traps section of your inventory and press "Use." Your new Underground home will be created.

  Speak to the hikers wandering the Underground. Some will sell you different items that you can use to decorate your base.
