How to Check Friendships in Pokemon Diamond

One of the new features Nintendo unveiled when it released the "Pokemon" Diamond and Pearl versions was the Poketch. This is an item you get near the beginning of the game that has several features, including a "Friendship Checker." This feature tells you how friendly your Pokemon are toward you and how happy they are. This can affect when it evolves into a more advanced Pokemon. You can check friendships anytime with this application.

     Load the game.

     Tap the red button on the touch screen with the stylus pen.

     Choose the "Friendship Checker" app.

   • 4

     Select the pokemon you want to check by tapping on it with the stylus pen. It will show between zero and two hearts depending on how good your friendship is with the pokemon. The size of the hearts tell you how happy the pokemon is.
