How Do I Find a Shieldon in Pokemon Diamond?

Shieldon is a Rock and Steel-type Pokemon introduced in the fourth generation ̶0;Diamond,̶1; ̶0;Pearl,̶1; and ̶0;Platinum̶1; games for the Nintendo DS. It evolves into Bastiodon at level 30. Shieldon and Bastiodon specialize in Defense and Special Defense, and learn several moves that play to these strengths, such as ̶0;Iron Defense,̶1; ̶0;Metal Burst̶1; and ̶0;Protect.̶1; Because the Armor Fossil from which Shieldon is revived is only obtainable in ̶0;Pearl̶1; and ̶0;Platinum,̶1; ̶0;Diamond̶1; players must take a more difficult approach to obtain Shieldon.

     Head north from Solaceon Town onto Route 210. Continue north and head east at the Café to reach Route 215.

     Defeat Ruin Maniac Calvin to register Shieldon̵7;s identity in your Pokedex. Fly to Jubilife City and enter the Global Trade Station.

     Talk to the receptionist and enter the trading area. Offer to trade one of your Pokemon for a level 10 and up Shieldon. Leave the trade area.

     Talk to the receptionist to check on the status of your trade every few hours. Your offer will likely be accepted within one day.
