How to Get Azure in Pokemon SoulSilver

The Azure is a variety of flute originally made available via a Nintendo event for the ̶0;Pokemon Diamond,̶1; ̶0;Pokemon Pearl̶1; and ̶0;Pokemon Platinum̶1; games. The flute grants the player access to the Hall of Origin, where the legendary Pokemon Arceus can be found. As the Azure flute is a key item, it cannot be held by a Pokemon and traded into another game. The only way to acquire the item in ̶0;Pokemon Soul Silver̶1; is by using an Action Replay device.

Instructions

  Connect the Action Replay to your computer and run the Code Manager software. Ensure the latest software is installed by selecting ̶0;Software Upgrade̶1; in the top-right corner.

  Go to ̶0;My Codelists.̶1; Select ̶0;My Custom Codelist.̶1; Locate the ̶0;Subscriptions̶1; box and drag and drop the ̶0;Pokemon Soul Silver̶1; icon into ̶0;My Custom Codelist.̶1;

  Select the ̶0;Pokemon Soul Silver̶1; icon and right-click to bring up a menu. Select ̶0;Add new cheat̶1; to make another dialogue box appear.

  Click ̶0;OK̶1; and safely remove the Action Replay from the computer. Insert ̶0;Pokemon Soul Silver̶1; into the Action Replay. Place the Action Replay into Slot 1 of the Nintendo DS.

  Start the main game and locate the nearest Pokemart. Hold the "L" and "R" buttons as you enter the Pokemart. Speak to the man in green. He will give you the Azure flute.
