Where and How Do You Get Macho Brace in Pokemon SoulSilver?

"Pokemon SoulSilver" and "HeartGold" are enhanced remakes of the Game Boy Color-era Pokemon titles "Silver" and "Gold," released on the ten year anniversary of "Silver" and "Gold" in 2009. Many of the quests, characters and events are changed slightly, but familiar enough to players of the earlier games, such as the acquisition of Machomp. In this version, Machomp also has the Macho Brace, an important "hold item" that can't be obtained otherwise.

     Go to Goldenrod City, then head to the Pokemon Center. Put a Drowzee in your party for trade with another trainer.

     Enter the Goldenrod Department Store, then head up to the fifth floor. Wandering around the TM Center is a man who will trade you a Machop for your Drowzee.

     Open your inventory, then click on the Machop. Its hold item should be the "Macho Brace," which you can unequip and give to another character to hold.
