How to Get Pokemon Modifier to Work in HeartGold

Pokémon modifier codes only work with the DS Action Replay device. The Action Replay device allows users to input cheat codes into games, like the Pokémon modifier codes. The Pokémon modifier codes change different aspects of the Pokémon in the game. For example, the wild Pokémon modifier code turns every Pokémon into a wild Pokémon you can catch. As long as you have the ̶0;Pokémon HeartGold̶1; game cartridge as well as the Action Replay device, you can use the modifier codes on the game.

     Insert the Action Replay device into your DS. Insert the ̶0;Pokémon HeartGold̶1; game into the Action Replay device.

     Turn on your DS.

     Select ̶0;Codes̶1; from the main menu.

     Choose all of the cheats that affect the Pokémon, like ̶0;Easy Capture,̶1; ̶0;Capture Trainer Pokémon," "Capture All Pokémon" and ̶0;Capture Boss Pokémon.̶1;
