How to Learn the Headbutt in Pokemon HeartGold

Headbutt is a physical attack you can teach to a Pokemon in the video game "Pokemon HeartGold." You can teach Headbutt to any Pokemon via the Move Tutor in Ilex Forest. Headbutt is a Normal-type attack which is 100 percent accurate and has a power rating of 70. You can use Headbutt 15 times before it needs to be recharged at a Pokemon Center. You can also get a Pokemon to use the Headbutt move on trees to see if there is a wild Pokemon hiding in them.

Instructions

  Go to Ilex Forest in the south of the Johto region, between Route 34 and Azalea Town.

  Go to the far right of Ilex Forest and follow the passageway south. Find the Move Tutor standing by a fence; he's the big guy wearing a pink shirt.

  Talk to the Move Tutor and he will offer to teach your Pokemon the move Headbutt for free.

  Accept the Move Tutor's offer and select the Pokemon you want to learn Headbutt. If that Pokemon already knows four moves, you will have to select one move to delete, replacing it with Headbutt.
