How to Get the Balloon on the Beach in Diddy Kong Racing DS

"Diddy Kong Racing DS" is a racing game for the Nintendo DS set in the Nintendo-created "Donkey Kong" universe. As you progress though the game, you will have the ability to explore more of the island the game takes place on and find hidden collectibles, such as hidden balloons. These collectibles are dispersed throughout the game's island, and you unlock them by performing a range of tasks, typically on the device's touch screen.

     Travel to the area of the beach that allows you to play connect-the-dots. This challenge is located near the very bottom of the area.

     Draw a balloon in the touch screen of the DS console. This may take you several tries, as the game can interpret your attempt as a circle. To compensate for this, make the balloon expand the further it gets to the top.

     Tap the balloon on the touch screen to receive the collectible.
