The Cheat to Get Munchlax in 'LeafGreen'

The Action Replay DSi is almost inextricably linked with the "Pokemon" franchise. Due to the large number of Pokemon that can only be encountered through using the cheating device, and the obsessive "Gotta catch'em all" motto of the game, using the Wild Pokemon Modifier cheat on the Action Replay DSi is an accepted part of the game. However, besides catching ultra rares and unobtainable Pokemon, the Wild Pokemon Modifier code can be used in "Pokemon LeafGreen" to capture normal Pokemon such as Munchlax.

Munchlax
- Munchlax is an infant version of the Snorlax Pokemon. Munclaxs are valued because their base stats are higher than many second-evolution Pokemon such as Butterfree, giving players an early advantage. Unlike the adult Snorlax, Munchlaxes are hyperactive and eat their body weight every day. Their character design is based on a baby bear.

Using the Code
- Enter the game and hold down the "L" and "R" buttons. This will put 999 Master Balls in your inventory. Discard the balls until they number 446. This is done because the number of the balls determines which Pokemon will appear, and Munchlax's Pokedex number is 446. Exit your inventory and press the "L" button. A wild Munchlax will attack you, allowing you to capture it.
Legitimate Way to Obtain Munchlax
- If you leave a male and female Snorlax at a Pokemon Day Care center, they will eventually breed and produce a Munchlax. Alternately, you may leave a Snorlax of either gender at Day Care along with a Ditto to get the same results, as Dittos may breed with any Pokemon of any sex.
