How to Get Rooster Hats on Scribblenauts

"Scribblenauts," released for the Nintendo DS in 2009, is a 2D platform game with a significant twist: Players solve puzzles by conjuring up a seemingly endless supply of real-world items. Luckily, getting what you need is a simple process as long as you know how to ask. The Rooster Hat (or helmet) is an item the main character Maxwell wears from the start of the game. You can re-acquire one if you've traded it out or conjure several for use at the same time.

     Start any level in the main single-player game and press "Start" to pause the game.

     Type the word "hat" or "rooster helmet" on the touch screen keyboard with the DS stylus pen.

     Click the check mark on the bottom right corner of the touchscreen to spawn the Rooster Hat. Repeat this process to acquire as many hats as you need.
