How to Catch Drifloon in Pokemon Pearl

"Pokemon Pearl" offers over 400 Pokemon to catch. A majority of Pokemon can be caught through normal means in the wild. However, some Pokemon, such as Drifloon, can only be caught when certain requirements are met. Drifloon is a Ghost- and Flying-type Pokemon who is strong against Psychic-types, but weak against Bug- and Poison-type Pokemon. At level 28, Drifloon evolves into Drifblim. To catch Drifloon in "Pokemon Pearl," you must first have removed Team Galactic from the Valley Windworks.

Instructions

  Travel to the Valley Windworks, located to the east of Floarama Town, on a Friday. "Pokemon Pearl" uses the Nintendo DS's in-game clock to calculate time, so Friday in the real world is Friday in the game.

  Press "A" in front of the Drifloon who is standing next to the "Valley Windworks" sign, located in front of the Valley Windworks building, to begin battling him.

  Use Pokemon around Drifloon's level, which is Level 22, so you do not accidentally kill him. Use your Pokemon's attacks to weaken Drifloon until his health bar, located in the upper left corner, is in the red.

  Catch Drifloon using your strongest Pokeball. Once caught, he is transferred to your Pokemon storage unit.
