How to Bloom a Flower in The Spiderwick Chronicles for the DS

The DS version of "The Spiderwick Chronicles" is designed for children between 8 and 11 years of age. The game follows a plot similar to that of the books and movie, but you also have side-quests. One quest that you must complete is to make flowers bloom so that you can catch the skimmer sprites that you will need later in the game. Making the flowers bloom is not difficult, but it can be tricky to identify the correct steps if you are unfamiliar with the game.

Instructions

    • 1

Go through the Goblin woods to the right. Locate the talking tree at the top of a small hill. Talk to the tree, who will take you to Arthur Spiderwick.

    • 2

Talk to Arthur. He should mention the bloomer sprites. Walk past Arthur to the north. Locate and pick up the bloomer sprite.

    • 3

Take the bloomer sprite back to the house. Use the bloomer sprite on the small blooms to make them grow. There are only a few flowers that you can make bloom larger, including the tomato plants next to the garden shed, the plant in the middle of the front yard and one in the back yard.

    • 4

Use the bloomer sprite on any plant that you come across to see if you can make the flowers bloom.
