How to Catch Shaymin in Pokemon

Shaymin is an exceptionally rare, Grass- and Flying-type Legendary Pokémon who lives in a hidden area called Flower Paradise. In order to find him, you will need an item given out during an in-store Pokémon event. Events occur in Nintendo and Pokémon store locations across the globe, although you may also be able to access the event over the Internet.

Instructions

      Obtain the in-game item, Oak's Letter. You must attend a Pokémon event to obtain this letter, either in person or via the Nintendo DS's Wi-Fi connection. Which item players receive during an event is entirely up to Nintendo.

      Run to Route 224 and speak with Professor Oak. If you have his letter, he will allow you to access Seabreak Path.

      Follow Seabreak Path to Flower Paradise, where you will find Shaymin, who will be at level 30.

      Weaken Shaymin with Fire and Poison attacks, and capture him with a Poke Ball.
