How to Get the TM Dragon Claw in SoulSilver

In "Pokemon SoulSilver," dragons are fearsome creatures that learn some of the most powerful and useful moves in the game. Moves, such as Dragon Claw, slash and tear at opponents, knocking them out in only a few strikes. Dragon Claw is learned naturally by legendary Pokemon, such as Giratina, Palkia and Dialga. If your Pokemon does not learn the move on its own, it is possible to teach it to them if you collect TM02. TM02, containing Dragon Claw, is hidden on Route 27.

Instructions

- 1
  Play through the game until you get to Mahogany Town. Upon entering, you are directed to the Team Rocket hideout.

  Defeat the Team Rocket grunts inside the hideout. When they are gone, Lance, the local gym leader, gives you the Whirlpool move. This lets you cross whirlpools in the water.

  Teach Whirlpool to any water Pokemon. Travel to your hometown, New Bark Town, located east of Cherrygrove City. Head east to pass Tohjo Falls and reach Route 27.

  Surf across the water to the east. When you see a bridge, surf south. Cross over the whirlpool and then surf west.
- 5
  Get out of the water when you see land. Fight the Bird Keeper that attacks you. Walk around the Bird Keeper after the fight to find TM02, Dragon Claw.
