How to Defeat Eggman in Zone 5 Act 3 of Sonic Rush

Zone Five (also known as "Huge Crisis") of "Sonic Rush" for the Nintendo DS includes a boss battle with Eggman's snake robot previously seen at the end of Zone One. This time around the robot comes with a new color, moves faster and has a new missile attack. To destroy it takes a strategy commonly used in the Sonic franchise: dodging and jumping.

Instructions

- 1
  Run back and forth to collect the coins at the start of the battle. This will also cause the robot to slightly lose track of your movements. Make sure you are out of the way when it rears its head back to slam down.

  Jump on its head when it pauses for a moment after slamming down. Continue to avoid hits by running back and forth and jumping on its head. As it is weakened, the robot will move farther back and shoot missiles at you.
- 3
  Avoid the missiles by jumping and dodging out of the way. As the battle goes on, the robot's movements will get faster. Stand closer to the head when it slams down, while still avoiding damage. Repeat the process until it is destroyed.
