How to Make Eevee & Ditto Breed in Pokemon Pearl

Pokemon Breeding is a feature in the Nintendo DS role playing game "Pokemon Pearl" that allows players to get new Pokemon. Players must take two compatible Pokemon to the Solacean Town Daycare Center in order to breed Pokemon. Ditto is a special Pokemon who, unlike the others, has the ability to breed with any partner. This unique ability allows players to breed the rare Eevee Pokemon with a Ditto in order to get an Eevee egg.

Instructions

  Place both the Eevee and Ditto you want to breed into your party and travel along Route 209 to reach Solacean Town.

  Enter the Pokemon daycare center situated on the west side of town next to the road. Speak to the woman inside, who will ask you which two Pokemon you want to breed. Select the Eevee and Ditto in your party.

  Leave the daycare center and walk or cycle around in the area. The time needed for the two Pokemon to breed is calculated by the amount of steps your character takes, so if you just stand still and wait, nothing will happen. You'll know the breeding was successful and your egg is ready as soon as you see the old man standing outside the daycare center facing the road.

  Speak to the old man to receive the egg produced by the Eeevee and Ditto. You need to have an open slot in your party to get the egg.
