How Do I Get Two Stars on My Trainer Card in Pokemon Platinum?

Each player in "Pokemon Platinum" starts trainer card at the beginning of the game. Players can earn stars for their trainer cards by completing certain milestones, such as collecting all 493 Pokemon or playing the capture the flag game at least 50 times. Each completed milestone earns one star and changes the color of a player's trainer card. Earning two stars changes the trainer card to bronze. Players can earn two relatively simple stars by defeating the Elite Four and winning 100 consecutive times at the Battle Tower.

Instructions

  1. Elite Four

    • 1

      Collect all 8 Gym Badges by defeating the gym leaders throughout Sinnoh. This will allow you to challenge the Elite Four.

      Travel to Victory Road and cross the bridge on the first floor to exit. This will lead you to the Elite Four.

      Enter the building and talk to the lady standing in front of the exit, which leads to the Elite Four. She will grant you access if you have all 8 Gym Badges.

      Exit the building. You will be challenged by each member of the Elite Four to a Pokemon battle one-by-one. Defeat all of them them to earn a star.

    Battle Tower

      Travel to the Battle Frontier.

      Enter the Battle Tower, which is located in the northernmost portion of the Battle Frontier.

      Talk to the lady standing in front of the middle door. Accept when she asks if you would like to participate in the Battle Tower Challenge.

      Defeat each trainer who challenges you to a Pokemon battle without losing. You lose when all of your Pokemon are knocked unconscious. You are required to fight seven trainers each time you enter the Battle Tower Challenge.

      Re-enter the Battle Tower Challenge each time you complete seven battles until you have at least 100 consecutive wins. This will earn you another star.
