Darkrai is a special Dark-type Pokemon that lives on Newmoon Island, a largely inaccessible area in "Pokemon Diamond" for the Nintendo DS. You can only get to the island by obtaining a Membership Card, which Nintendo only releases during special events, and then going to the Harbor Inn at Canalave City. Once you have one, getting to the island is fairly simple, and you can find Darkrai lurking on the island, ready to battle with you.

Go to the Harbor Inn in Canalave City and find a boy who is having nightmares.

Sail to Fullmoon Island and retrieve the Lunar Wing after the Pokemon Cresselia leaves.

Go back to the boy and wake him up, then get on the ferry next to the inn.

Choose "Newmoon Island" as the destination.

Find Darkrai resting on the island, ready to do battle.
