How to Get Your Friend Code in SoulSilver

Online gaming on the Nintendo DS requires a friend code, a 12 digit code that your friend must have to be able to play with you, and vice versa. Every game, such as "Pokemon SoulSilver," has its own friend code. In "SoulSilver," your friend code is listed on your Pal Pad. You will receive your Pal Pad from the Pokemon Center after obtaining your first badge. It can be accessed at any time using the menu on the bottom screen of the Nintendo DS.

     Tap "Bag" on the bottom screen of the Nintendo DS.

     Tap the "Key Items" icon, which is a picture of a key.

     Tap "Pal Pad."

     Tap "Use."

     Tap "xxxx's Friend Code" where xxxx is the name of your character. Your friend code will be displayed on the bottom screen.
