How to Go to Newmoon Island in Pokemon: Platinum

"Pokemon Platinum" offers many Pokemon for you to catch and train, but some are more special than others. These are the legendary Pokemon, which are rarely seen by humans. One legendary Pokemon you're able to get is Darkrai, a Dark-type creature that brings nightmares to all those nearby. Darkrai waits for you on New Moon Island, but you must have a Membership Pass to get there. Membership Passes were given out during a Nintendo Event, though it is also possible to get one using the Action Replay cheat code device.

  Get the Membership Pass by using an Action Replay device if you didn't get it from the Nintendo Event. Insert the device into the Nintendo DS, and select "Pokemon Platinum" from the game list.

  Make a new code titled "Membership Pass." Type "94000130 FCFF0000" on the first line, "62101D40 00000000" on the second and "B2101D40 00000000" on the third. On the next three lines, enter "0000B5D4 00000008," "0000B5D8 00000000" and "D2000000 00000000." Start the game.

  Press "L" and "R" together while playing the game to obtain the Membership Pass. Head to Canalave City.

  Walk up to the door of the locked inn, and try to go inside. When you have the Membership Pass, the door opens.

  Sleep in the bed inside the inn, and you will automatically wake up on New Moon Island. Leave the island by capturing Darkrai.
