How to Find Kabuto in Heartgold

Kabuto is a Rock- and Water-type Pokemon introduced in the first-generation "Red," "Blue" and "Yellow" Pokemon games. It evolves into Kabutops at level 40, and makes a powerful but frail physical sweeper. Kabuto can learn a variety of attacks, including "Aqua Jet," "Mega Drain," "Rock Slide" and "Stealth Rock." In "Pokemon HeartGold," players can revive Kabuto from a Dome Fossil obtained in the Ruins of Alph after reaching Pewter City in the Kanto portion of the game.

Instructions

  Defeat the Elite Four and the Pokemon League Champion. Exit the Johto region and enter the Kanto region from Tohjo Falls.

  Defeat the Kanto gym leaders until you have 14 to 15 badges. Head back to the Johto region and enter the Ruins of Alph.

  Use "Rock Smash" on the cracked boulders until you find a Dome Fossil. Exit the cave, and head to Pewter City in the Kanto region.

  Enter the Pewter Museum and present the Dome Fossil to the scientist. Exit and reenter the museum and speak with the scientist to obtain Kabuto.
