How to Start a New Game in Pokemon: SoulSilver

"Pokemon SoulSilver" is a Nintendo DS game released in 2010 in which you take on the role of a young Pokemon trainer. Many new DS users have found themselves confused by the device, which is the first portable device by Nintendo to have a dashboard; just sliding the game into the device and turning it on doesn't automatically start the game.

Instructions

     Slide the "Pokemon SoulSilver" cartridge into the DS slot. (A properly inserted cartridge's label faces outward.)

     Push the power button on the inside of your DS.

     Highlight "Pokemon SoulSilver" on your DS. Press the "A" button and wait for the main screen to load.

   • 4

     Press "Start." A new game will automatically begin.
