How to Get a Skull Fossil in SoulSilver

In "Pokemon: SoulSilver Version," you're able to revive ancient Pokemon by bringing their fossils to the Pewter Museum. There are several fossils that can be found in the game by bashing rocks. Of the fossils available, the most challenging to get is the Skull Fossil, because you cannot get it in "Pokemon: SoulSilver Version," but rather must import it from "Pokemon: Diamond Version." Once you've imported it, you can resurrect the Skull Fossil into a ferocious Cranidos.

  Load "Pokemon: Diamond Version."

  Travel to Eterna City and speak with the Underground Man, who will give you the Explorer Kit.

  Leave the city and use the Explorer Kit, which will teleport you to the Sinnoh Underground. You can use the Explorer Kit in any outdoor area.

  Click on the diamonds on the walls to play the mining mini-game. The objective of the mini-game is to dig through layers of stone and dirt to find rare items, one of which is the Skull Fossil. To dig, select the pick or hammer and repeatedly touch the screen. As you mine deeper, you'll find items. Continue playing the mining game until you get the Skull Fossil.

  Equip the Skull Fossil to a Pokemon.

  Load "Pokemon: SoulSilver Version" and import the Pokemon with the Skull Fossil.

  Visit Pal Park, which is located north of Fuchsia City. Inside, you'll find the Pokemon with the Skull Fossil during a random encounter. Capture it and you'll get the Skull Fossil as well.
