How to Get the Second Player on Epic Mickey

The original "Epic Mickey" game doesn't support multiple players, but "Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two" features a cooperative mode. In "Epic Mickey 2," the first player controls Mickey, while the second player uses Oswald the rabbit. If you haven't synced a second controller to your console yet, you'll need to do so before another player can join your game. The syncing method differs depending on your game console.

Instructions

  1. Sync Second Controller

    • 1

Power on the Wii if you want to sync a controller with the console. Remove the battery cover from the back of the controller, also called a Wii Remote. Tap the small "Sync" button below the batteries. When the LED lights start blinking on the controller, press the "Sync" button on the front of the Wii. The lights stop flashing when the controller has synced.

    • 2

Turn on the PlayStation 3, and then press the "PS" button on the controller you want to pair. The console will automatically pair with the controller.

    • 3

Power on your Xbox 360 and hold down the "Guide" button on the controller you want to connect. Press the "Connect" button on the front of the console, and then press "Connect" on the top of the controller within 20 seconds.

    Adding a Second Player

    • 4

Load the level you want to play in co-op.

    • 5

Press "Start" on the second Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 controller to have another player join as Oswald. Press the button again to leave the game.

    • 6

Press the "2" button on the Nintendo Wii controller to join as Oswald. Press "2" again to drop out.
