How to Make a Cake in Animal Parade

Cooking is an important part of the role-playing game "Harvest Moon: Animal Parade," as it is in other "Harvest Moon" farm simulation games. Every player gets a farm and a small plot of land to till to produce crops. Some harvested crops make valuable cooking ingredients, which you can turn into baked goods such as cakes. Marriage is the other objective in the game, and cakes make excellent gifts to potential spouses.

Instructions

  Buy an oven from Garmon Mine District's general store and place it in your kitchen.

  Harvest the cake's main ingredients from your farm: wheat flour, milk, butter and an egg. Alternatively, buy the ingredients at Horn Ranch or Marimba Farm, located in Flute Fields.

  Obtain the secondary ingredient, which dictates what type of cake you will produce: orange for orange cake, cocoa for chocolate cake or chestnuts for Montblanc cake. Place all of the ingredients in your rucksack.

  Enter your kitchen and approach the oven. Press "A" to start the cooking dialogue, and again to select items from your rucksack.

  Press "Start" to initiate the baking process. After a few moments, the cake will appear in front of you. The game automatically adds successful recipes to your recipe list.
