How to Log Into a Hot Spot With Your Wii

A wireless hotspot is an area where you can pick up a network from a wireless router and connect to the Internet. When playing on your Nintendo Wii, you can connect your console to one of these hotspots. This allows you to then play a range of Wii games online and access the various channels that the Wii console has to offer.

  Turn on your Nintendo Wii console and then select the "Wii" button in the lower left corner of the home screen.

  Click on "Wii Settings" on the right side of the screen and then choose "Internet."

  Select "Connections" and then choose an empty connection that is set to "None." You can have up to three connections saved on your Nintendo Wii.

  Select "Wireless Connection" and then choose "Search for access point."

  Select the name of the wireless hot spot that you would like to connect to. Click on "OK" to save the settings. You Wii will now connect to the hot spot.
