How to Get to the Secret World in New Super Mario Bros. for the Wii

The Wii-exclusive sequel to the game of the same name, "New Super Mario Bros," features eight different worlds in which you can complete levels while trying to save the kidnapped Princess Peach. In addition to these eight worlds is a ninth secret world, which you can only unlock by finding all of the star coins available within the game. After this, you can access the ninth world.

Instructions

- 1
  Load your previously saved game in "New Super Mario Bros."

  Press "Minus" to open the World Selection screen. Pick one of the worlds provided to travel to it.

  Select the level you want to play with the directional pad. In the upper left hand corner, you can see which star coins you have already collected. It will also display a dotted online for coins you have not yet located.

  Press "2" to play the level. Complete the level, exploring every part of the level to ensure you find all coins.
- 5
  Repeat process with every level in which you are missing star coins. Once you have found every single star coin, you will have access to the ninth secret world.
