How to Unlock the Gate in Scooby Doo & the Spooky Swamp

A large portion of the island on which "Scooby Doo & the Spooky Swamp" takes place is blocked off for the majority of the game. Near the end of the game, shortly after you have found the valve to operate the water pressure of the island with, you will be tasked with advancing through a locked gate. Fortunately, your friend on the island, Emilio, is willing to provide a helping hand in getting you through the gate.

Instructions

- 1
  Walk up to the gate and press the PlayStation 2 controller's "X" button or the Wiimote's "A" button. A cutscene will play, indicating that the gate is locked and requires a key to get through it.

  Walk directly south of the gate while hugging the wall through which the gate allows entrance. After a few feet, another cutscene will play, and Emilio will throw a key over the wall.
- 3
  Approach the key and press the PlayStation 2's "X" button or the Wiimote's "A" button. Your character will then bend down and pick up the key.
- 4
  Walk back to the gate and press the "X" or "A" button to unlock it.
