How to Open the Gate at the Uncharted Island in Sims Kingdom

"MySims: Kingdom" is a MySims spinoff, developed by EA Redwood Shores and released in 2008 for the Nintendo Wii and DS. The gameplay is broken up among a group of islands, each with their own inhabitants, minigames, puzzles and secrets. On "Uncharted Isle," there is a gate with a puzzle that involves using windmill power to turn gears that unlock a secret portion of Uncharted Isle.

Instructions

  Connect a large gear to the side of the windmill, then place a small gear next to it that turns in the correct direction. Only use two gears on the windmill, as an odd number will not turn the axle in the correct direction, and you don't want to use more gears than you need.

  Attach several axles to the first gear on the wall, ending in a medium belt that connects the first gear to the second gear. Hook a gear to the end of the belt that is connected to the second gear.

  Use a long belt to extend past the gate to reach the third gear, on the other side of the gate. You may need to use more than one belt. At the third and fourth gears, use a medium belt to connect the third gear to the fourth gear, which will open the gate.
