How to Connect a Wii Remote to an iPod Touch

Wii owning, iPod Touch users may not realize that the two devices use similar technology to operate. Motion sensor devices like the iPod Touch use an orientation sensing technology, called an accelerometer, to align the screen depending on how the device is being held. Wii remotes also use accelerometers for motion input to determine how the player is holding the remote and translate that motion to action on the screen. It is possible to combine the two devices so that the Wii remote connects to the iPod Touch, enabling you to play games on your iPod using your Wii remote instead of the touchscreen.
