How to Attach a Pelican Dance Pad Onto the Wii

While the Nintendo Wii generally makes use of wireless controllers and accessories, gamers can attach other devices, such as the Pelican Universal Dance Pad, to the console. If the game you wish to play is able to interact with the dance pad, you can make use of the Wii's GameCube ports to connect the pad.

Instructions

      Open the plastic flap on the left side of your Wii. If you are placing your Wii vertically, the flap will be on the top side.

      Connect the GameCube connector extending from your Universal Dance Pad to the first GameCube controller port under the Wii's plastic flap.

      Turn on your Wii. The console will now detect the dance pad through your GameCube port.
