How to Kill a Pirate in Epic Mickey

Once you reach the Wasteland in Epic Mickey, you'll have all the skills you need to defeat the pirate robots you encounter there. While these are some of Epic Mickey's most difficult enemies, they do have some weaknesses you can exploit. Make sure you have plenty of green thinner in your paintbrush before you attempt to defeat the pirates.

Instructions

      When you encounter a pirate, stand still and aim the Wii remote at his chest.

      Hit the pirate with a blast of thinner by pressing and holding the "Z" button. Thin out his outer casing completely.

      Wait for the pirate to get angry and spin around. This will take a few seconds. Do not approach the pirate while he is attacking.

      Once the pirate stops spinning, a green button shaped like a gemstone will appear on his back. Run up to the pirate and shake the Wii remote to launch Mickey into his spin attack to defeat the pirate.
