Hockey video game "NHL 2K10" rattles the Wii's virtual boards with big hits and dazzling shots on goal. The game is the ninth title in the "NHL 2K" series. However, this was the first title to offer the Wii version with all of the features found in both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions. One of the key features is the ability to place a player on a team in Wii NHL 2K10. This may be done from the team roster screen.

Start NHL 2K10 and wait for the main menu to load.

Aim the Wii remote at the roster menu and click the A button.

Follow the onscreen instructions of the chosen option to select which team a player will play for.
