How to Get More Stars in Chicken Riot

If you want to unlock more levels in "Chicken Riot" for the Nintendo Wii, you have to accumulate stars in the earlier levels -- you can win a maximum of five stars per level. The number of stars you receive at the end of a level is dependent on how many points you accumulated by killing enemies and destroying bonus objects. If you want to win the maximum number of stars in any given level, there are some things you should keep in mind.

  Build up your combo bonus. The combo bonus is a multiplier that determines how many points you get from shooting enemies. For example, if you have a 15x combo bonus and shoot something that normally gives you 1,000 points, you will get 15,000 points.

  Shoot accurately and avoid taking unnecessary shots. If you miss a shot, you lose your combo bonus and you will have to work to build it up again. Additionally, if you are shooting at a chicken that only takes one shot to kill, you should only fire your gun once. Even if the second shot impacts, it will count as a miss because the chicken is already dead.

  Shoot eggs before they hit your screen. Breaking an egg with a bullet counts as a real hit, so it will add to your multiplier and eggs are worth quite a few points. If you have a combo bonus built up and your screen is hit by an egg, you will lose your bonus multiplier.

  Destroy object that give you bonus points, such as bottles and other parts of the scenery. Bonus point objects vary from level to level, so you should try shooting different things in each area as long as your bonus multiplier is relatively low.
