How Do You Get a Triple Play on Backyard Baseball?

"Backyard Baseball 2010" for the Nintendo Wii is a sports game released by Atari. Like all other baseball games, it is possible to get a triple play in the game. A triple play is when your fielders make three outs on the same play. For example, this most commonly occurs when you catch a fly ball and throw to the bases two runners were on before they can return to them.

Instructions

    • 1

Run towards the ball when it is hit. Press "C" to dive and catch the ball before it hits the ground. This is the first out.

    • 2

Throw the ball to the closest base the runner must return to. For example, if there was a player on second base, quickly press "Up" to throw it to second base. This is the second out.

    • 3

Throw the ball to the other base a runner must return to. For example, if another runner was on first base, quickly press "Right" to throw the ball to first. This is the third and final out.
