How to Use the Wii Remote With Guitar Hero

The Wii versions of the "Guitar Hero" games have a different guitar controller to other platforms. To use it, the player must first insert the Wii remote into the guitar controller. This is what supplies the guitar with the power it needs, as well as acting as the wireless connection to the console. To start the process, turn on your console and Wii remote and synchronize them.

      Turn on the Wii remote and console. Open the flap on the front of the console and press the "Sync" button.

      Remove the battery cover on your Wii remote and press the red "Sync" button at the bottom of the bay. Replace the battery cover.

      Assemble the Wii "Guitar Hero" guitar controller. Plug the connector on the guitar to the bottom port of the Wii remote.

      Insert the Wii remote into the back of the guitar controller and attach the Wii remote cover.
