How to Wire a Nintendo Wii Zapper Game Fun

Video game gun peripherals such as the Nintendo Wii Zapper enables users to turn their regular controller into a gun. This gun can be pointed at the television screen and used to shoot enemies. If you wish to use the Wii Zapper with your television, you must properly insert the Wii controller (with Wii nunchuck wired to it) into the device.

Wii controller
Wii nunchuck (disconnected from Wii controller)

Instructions

  Remove the cable storage cover from the underside of the Wii Zapper by pulling it down and away from the device.

  Open the nunchuck door on the back of the gun. Insert the Wii nunchuck into the compartment, making sure that the pegs in the compartment are inserted into the holes on the nunchuck. Close the door back over the nunchuck.

  Feed the nunchuck cable under the Zapper and wrap the cable around the pegs in the cable storage compartment roughly three and a half times. Make sure you leave some slack on the cable.

  Replace the cable storage cover and feed the remainder of the nunchuck cable over the top of the cover.

  Thread the wrist strap cord on your Wii controller through the bottom of the nunchck connector plug and connect the plug to the bottom of the controller.

  Place the Wii controller into the controller compartment on the top of the Zapper while pressing the lock release buttons on the side of the connector plug. Let go of the buttons when the controller is fully inserted into the compartment.

  Turn your Wii on and press the "A" button on your connected Wii controller. You can now use the Zapper with your Wii.
