How to Play Other People on Wii

Wii players have the option to play individually or against other Wii owners thanks to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. This online capability is enacted in the "Friend Mode" which is available in the Nintendo WFC screen settings. Setting this up requires the Friend Code of individuals you wish to play against. That code has to be entered into your Wii console.

Instructions

  Press the "A" button on the Wii Remote to select "Nintendo WFC" from the main screen.

  Press the "A" button to select "Friend Code." Click "Confirm Friend Code" to view your own 10-digit Friend Code. Press the "A" button again to select "Register Friend Code" from the Friend Code Screen. Tap the 10-digit number Friend Code using the Wii remote

  Press the "A" button to select "Nintendo WFC" from the main screen.

  Press the "A" button to select "Nintendo WFC Match" and tap "Yes" to connect to Nintendo WFC.

  Press the "A" button to select "Friends." The Nintendo Wii will search for other Wii Friends logged into the console and allow you to play against them.
