How to Add a Second Remote to the Wii Carnival Games

"Carnival Games" is a motion-sensitive family game on the Nintendo Wii gaming system. The game offers multi-player support for up to four players. Players can take turns using one Wii remote, which is the default, or set it up so a second player has a remote of her own.

Instructions

  Press the red SYNC button located inside the front panel on the Wii system.

  Press the red SYNC button located under the battery cover on the back of the Wii remote. The lights along the bottom of the remote will blink during the sync process. When the sync is complete, the second light should remain illuminated, indicating the remote is for player two.

  Insert the "Carnival Games" disk into the Wii and press the "A" button on your controller to start.

  Click the "Carnival Games" icon in the top left corner of the Wii main menu to launch the game.

  Click the multiplayer game option on the "Carnival Games" menu. You should see a sign that displays the image of four faces, indicating multiple players.

  Click on the sign and the image will rotate between multiplayer options. Stop clicking when the image displays an individual controller next to each face on the sign.

  Play the "Head to Head" mode. The second player should now be able to join the game with the second remote controller.
