Insert the connector plug at the end of the Wii A/V cable included with the game console into the connection on the back of the Wii.
Place the pair of powered stereo speakers near the Wii, one on each side, to allow for a stereo effect. Move each speaker about a half-foot away from the Wii laterally to improve upon the stereo effect.
Plug the RCA female ends of the mini-plug-to-stereo RCA adapter into the two RCA audio plugs at the end of the Wii A/V cable. Plug the mini-plug attached to a cable coming out of one of the two powered speakers into the mini-plug end of the mini-plug-to-stereo RCA adapter.
Press the "On" button that is on one of the two powered speakers to activate the built-in amplifier.
Turn on the Wii. Press the "A" button on the remote. Select the "Wii" icon at the lower left corner of the screen. Select "Settings" from the choices presented on a new screen. Select "Audio" from beneath "Settings."
Raise the volume number slider on the new screen that appears to its highest number. Click on the "Exit" button at the bottom of the screen. Click on the "Wii" icon at the bottom of the screen to return to the main menu screen.
Rotate the volume knob on either or both of the powered speakers if present to increase the volume of the audio being presented by the Wii.
