How to Copy a Wii Game to Save to Another Wii

The Nintendo Wii offers players the ability to save their video games locally to the system or to removable memory cards. These memory cards use the SD or SDHC format commonly used for digital cameras and computers to allow up to 32 gigabytes of memory per card. Each card may hold any number of saved games based on the size of the file and the requirements of each game. Users may transfer these saved files between Wii systems.

Things You'll Need

  • Two or more Nintendo Wii consoles
  • SD or SDHC memory card

Instructions

    • 1

Click the Wii icon in the lower left corner of the Wii's main menu. This brings up the system options for the console.

    • 4

Insert an SD or SDHC memory card into the card slot on the Wii Console. The card slot appears near the GameCube controller slots on the back of the unit.
