How to Defeat Fracktail in Super Paper Mario

In "Super Paper Mario", the lovely Princess Peach is forced into marrying wicked King Bowser, a tragic event that causes a world-devouring black hole to appear in the sky. Mario, the hero of light, is sent on a quest to recover the seven Pure Hearts. These hearts have the power to close the void and stop his enemies' schemes, but it won't be a simple task to obtain them. Fracktail, a desert-dwelling dragon, possesses one of the Pure Hearts. Taking him down requires some quick maneuvering and the help of one of Mario's new friends, the Pixls.

Instructions

- 1
  Switch to the third dimension and wait for Fracktail to perform a swooping attack. Jump on his back as he passes you.

  Run up to Fracktail's head and use the Pixl, Thoreau, to grab one of the enemies that appear. Toss the enemy at Fracktail's antenna.

  Repeat this attack three times and get ready for Fracktail to try and throw you off his back. When Mario has slid down to the end of Fracktail's body, jump, and Mario will land back on Fracktail's head. If you fall off, wait for him to swoop down at you, and jump back on.
- 4
  Attack him in this manner a total of nine times, and the Pure Heart is yours.
