How to Earn Coins for Club Nintendo

As an incentive for gamers to buy Nintendo products new rather than used, Club Nintendo grants you the opportunity to register your games and consoles in order to earn coins. These coins can be exchanged on the Club Nintendo Web site for unique rewards and Nintendo memorabilia, such as Nintendo-themed playing cards, game cases and even certain game titles. Earning coins for Club Nintendo only takes a few minutes, but it requires an Internet connection and the Club Nintendo insert included with most Nintendo products.

Instructions

  Register for an account at the Club Nintendo Web site (see Resources). You need to enter your date of birth, a valid e-mail address, a unique user name and password, and your home address.

  Log into your Club Nintendo account using your user name and password on the Club Nintendo home page (see Resources). The log-in prompt is on the left side of the page.

  Click the "Earn Coins" option beneath the Club Nintendo logo.

  Click the text box under "Register Purchased Products" in the "Earn Coins Now" section. Enter the 14-character PIN found on the back of the Club Nintendo insert included with most first-party Nintendo products.

  Click the "Register" button and answer the questions on the survey that appears. Questions generally regard how you heard about the product, what led you to buy it and where you bought the product. Make sure you answer all the questions before you click the button at the bottom of the page to submit the survey.

  Click the "Do It!" button next to any of the items listed on your "To-Do" list or click the item and choose "Take Survey Now" to take additional surveys to earn more coins. This page appears after taking a survey or by clicking the "Earn Coins" option.
