How to Back Up & Save Wii Games

The popular Nintendo Wii console has games that appeal to every age group. The Wii can back up your stats and current place in each game with its built-in memory, but those memory blocks can only hold so much information. To prevent data loss or to make room for more saves, consider backing up your data to an SD card.

     Insert the SD card into your Wii's SD card slot.

     Turn on your Wii and TV.

     Select the Wii icon from the main menu.

     Chose "Data Management," then "Save Data." Select the "Wii" tab.

     Select the data you want to copy, then press "Copy." Select "Yes" to copy to the SD card.
