How to Start Up Allods Online

"Allods Online" is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game that is free to play, with further development and server fees funded through items available in a cash shop. These items, although helpful, are optional, and the lack of both a game purchase and a subscription fee means you can try out the game anytime you want, with no obligation to pay anything. To begin playing, you need to download and install the game client, then start it up and choose a server to play on.

  Download "Allods Online" from the official website (see Resources) and install it. When the installation process is finished, click "Next," ensure the check box labeled "Start Allods Online" is selected and click "Close." This will start the "Allods Online" launcher.

  Wait for the launcher to download and install any available update files. If you do not already have a gPotato account, which is required to play the game, click the "Registration" button to open the account registration form in your browser. Fill in the form and click "Sign Up." Check the email address you specified during registration for a confirmation message, and click the link within the message to activate your account.

  Enter your login details in the "Allods Online" launcher and click "Play" to launch the game. If prompted to, accept the license agreement.

  Select the server you want to play on from the server list and click "Accept." Choose your faction, click "Continue," design your first character and click "Create." Once you've done this, you will be brought to the character selection screen.

  Click "Play" to start playing "Allods Online."
